Beginning with the 2025 Formula 1 season, Lewis Hamilton will go from Mercedes to Ferrari; Ferrari Driver Academy product Oliver Bearman has merited a seat with Haas for 2025.

Oliver Bearman, an 18-year-old British student, expressed his desire to “learn a lot” from seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton when the latter brings his “winning mentality” to Ferrari.

Through the Ferrari Driver Academy, Bearman secured a 2025 Formula 1 seat with Haas, presumably on loan from the Italian team. The 19-year-old is optimistic that he will eventually be able to drive for the most prestigious team in the sport.

The British driver will likely collaborate closely with Hamilton as he moves from Mercedes to Ferrari for the upcoming season, and Bearman will undoubtedly continue to be involved even though he is at Haas.

Before the British Grand Prix, Bearman told Sky Sports at Silverstone, “I think he’ll bring a lot of experience to the team,” after receiving word of his multi-year Haas contract. “Not many people can claim to have won seven world championships, as he has.

He’ll instill in the team a winning mindset and a positive outlook, but his potential is apparent. He’s among the greatest to have done it in history.”

After winning a thrilling race two weeks ago at Silverstone, Hamilton ended a 56-race losing run that dates back to December 2021.

The British driver dispelled many’s fears, including his own, about whether he can still perform at his peak age of 39. “It’s great that I in some way he can share his experience with me slightly,” Bearman concluded.

“I hope that I will learn a lot from him and I hope that Ferrari will as well because I think he will be a great asset to the team.”
