It’s time for another Formula 1 summer break, and Max Verstappen is leading the championship once more. Although he has a sizable lead over nearest rival Lando Norris, it is not due to Red Bull dominance, as it was in the previous two seasons.
They currently face three more formidable rivals in addition to McLaren, who is particularly potent. This is evident in the constructors’ championship, where there is now only a 42-point difference.
Ferrari isn’t much behind either, and with Sergio Perez still fighting for the lead, it should provide for an exciting championship battle during the last ten races of the season.

After a lengthy drought, Lewis Hamilton finally found success at Silverstone, and George Russell’s disqualification at the Belgian Grand Prix made the seven-time Formula One champion the only driver not named Verstappen to have won more than once in 2024. Elsewhere, Oscar Piastri, a teammate who is enjoying a fantastic sophomore season in Formula One, and Lando Norris both finally found their target.
After losing his Ferrari seat to Hamilton and then his appendix, Carlos Sainz retaliated in style by taking the top step in Melbourne. Charles Leclerc finally prevailed in Monaco.
