The New York Jets are getting standout pass rusher Haason Reddick from the Philadelphia Eagles in one of the largest moves of the NFL offseason.
Reddick will join the Jets in exchange for a conditional third-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, according to information first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter via X. Schefter claims that depending on playing time or sack output, the pick might be raised to a second-round selection.
Trade: Eagles are sending edge-rusher Haason Reddick to the New York Jets for a conditional 2026 third-round pick that could be a second, sources tell ESPN.
The 2026 pick becomes a 2nd if Reddick has 67.5% playtime this season and has 10 or more sacks. If not, it’s a 2023 third pic.twitter.com/AcjiqZE2L4

The Eagles are in the last year of a three-year, $45 million contract extension with Reddick. The Eagles chose to acquire an asset for Reddick rather than allow him to depart in free agency after this upcoming season since the two sides were unable to come to an agreement on a new contract.
Now, Will McDonald IV and Jermaine Johnson, the team’s rookie pass rushers, will have a seasoned veteran to play alongside.
