Mercedes has been summoned by the Miami Grand Prix stewards due to an incident that happened in the pits during sprint qualifying for Lewis Hamilton.

Team personnel seemed to be working on the W15 without wearing helmets during SQ2, which is against safety standards outlined in Article 34.13 of the sporting laws. This occurred as Hamilton entered the pits.

It was mandatory for the team representative to report to the stewards between 18:10 and 23:10 UK time.

George Russell also fell in the same segment, finishing in 11th place, and Hamilton qualified in 12th place after being eliminated in SQ2.
