On Monday, Scottie Scheffler completed an RBC Heritage final round that was delayed by rain, continuing his machine-like dominance of the PGA Tour by three strokes. Then he revealed his preparations for celebrating his victory, which were, of course, equally robotic.

With this victory, Scheffler has won four of his last five starts, including two major championships at the Masters. That brings his career total of PGA Tour victories to ten. However, the 27-year-old wasn’t about to live it up, even though he didn’t have any intentions to play until the PGA Championship next month. Take a look at this conversation from his post-round interview:

Before traveling to Hilton Head on Wednesday, Scheffler claims he spent a few days at home celebrating the Masters victory, which included a visit to a dive bar in Dallas. Heck, that’s probably the only explanation for why he didn’t win the tournament by more than three shots despite having a stronger opening round.

Furthermore, Scheffler isn’t the wildest party animal, as evidenced by their sweet shared birthday celebration with Tom Kim from the previous year.

However, he and his spouse, Meredith, are expecting their first child soon. He may thus use all the rest he can get, as this humorous tweet from Mark Harris of Outkick noted.

Scottie, have fun with your breakfast burrito. And relish your leisurely pace. Oh, and learn to live with the desire for coffee.
