While addressing the media at the Japanese Grand Prix, the Ferrari team principal seemed hesitant to respond to yet another question regarding Lewis Hamilton.

Following the Japanese Grand Prix, Ferrari Team Principal Frederic Vasseur sought to block a question about Lewis Hamilton.

Hamilton’s decision to leave Mercedes at the conclusion of the season in order to join Ferrari in 2025 has been one of the most talked-about stories of the year thus far.

This has been called one of the biggest driver transfers in Formula 1 history, and it was a hot topic of conversation in the lead-up to this season.

After the race in Suzuka this past weekend, Hamilton was asked if he was “looking forward to being with Ferrari next year because they’re faster.” This incensed the seven-time world champion, who left the post-race interview.

Not too long after, Ferrari CEO Vasseur also objected to a query about his driver for the upcoming season.

Carlos Sainz, who has finished on the podium in every race this year, helped Ferrari secure its sixth podium of the year in Japan.

Before Hamilton arrives, the Spaniard is enjoying his last season with the Italian team.

A reporter started asking Vasseur about a “alternative reality where you hadn’t already signed Lewis Hamilton for 2025” during Sainz’s run to his third podium in three races; however, Vasseur cut them off right away.

“Every weekend, we get the same question,” Vasseur remarked. “Copy and paste my response from last week to this one.”
